We are organising the course for the Royal College of Psychiatrist's South West Division in Bristol area.
 The course will be conducted only in Bristol area and not in Southampton.

'CASC EXAM PRACTICE COURSE' is a two day intensive course.  The course involves one day of MOCK exam mimicking RCPsych CASC exam.The candidates will practise 16 stations in the day as in the CASC exam.The other day will be a detailed discussion and tutorials day in which  the CASC topics are discussed.The candidates can do upto 4-5 CASC scenarios in this day.So each candidate will do 20-21 stations in the weekend.
 
The places are limited to 16. This is to ensure individual attention and high quality feedback to each candidate. On day 1 candidates will move in small groups and do 4-5 stations each and observe 16 stations being done by other candidates . On day 2 the candidates will be able to practise the scenarios as in the real exam and do 16 stations with 2 minutes prepartion time and 10 minutes station time for linked stations and 1 minute preparation time and 7 minutes station time for the individual stations.  On day 2 candidates will have tutorial on interviewing skills and can practise physical examination stations. They will also have a tutorial on physical examination stations.
 
The course will use professional actors and candidates will be  assessed by experienced assessors.
