We are organising the course for the Royal College of Psychiatrist's South West Division in Bristol area.
 The course will be conducted only in Bristol area and not in Southampton.

WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN OFFERING EACH CANDIDATE VERY INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION; WHERE OUR FOCUS IS YOU
 
This two day intensive course involves, day one of intense tutorial and discussion on most of the CASC stations. Each candidate can do 4-5 stations on this day. The day involves Forensic Psychiatry tutorial and Practical tips to pass the CASC exam in 'Crack the CASC'.
 
On day two, each candidate will participate in a MOCK exam involving two circuits running under exam conditions mimicking the MRCPsych CASC exam. This includes 8 individual stations and 4 pairs of linked stations.  The day will focus on improving individual candidate performance. The candidates will also have interviewing skills and physical examination skills tutorial.Now we have introduced a new 'Power Thinking' workshop which will help the candidates to approach the tasks in a way that will help them pass the station.
 
EACH CANDIDATE WILL GET A WRITTEN AND ONE TO ONE VERBAL FEEDBACK FROM EXAMINERS AND ACTORS FOR THE LINKED STATIONS AND GET WRITTEN FEEDBACK AND COLLECTIVE FEEDBACK FROM EXAMINERS FOR THE INDIVIDUAL STATIONS.
 
Each candidate will be provided with written feeback. The candidate will get time to discuss their performance with each examiner and professional actor. On the mock exam day the candidates will get feedback with no other candidates in the room for the linked stations.
 
COURSE MATERIAL
 
Each candidate will be provided with extensive course material including 100 linked and individual stations.
 
CONTINUED SUPPORT AFTER THE COURSE
 
There will be telephone and email support after the course until the day of the candidate's Royal College CASC exam . The candidates will be able to clarify doubts before the exam.
